NEBU, shadows and light
Nebu is a creation born from the desire to leave free the shape of the lamp and interact with the material.The light, and the shadows crosses the curves of the fabric and they create unique shapes. The light and the shadows are the very protagonists of this project. I've used a shape like a picture to emphasize the light / shadow effect.
Made with aluminum, wood and plexiglass. LED lighting system.
I chose two shape for the firt series, a lamp and a heat. The lamp because I like to recall an illumination symbol, the heart because it's a form of protection, of security, hidden behind a fabric, but illuminated bu a light hope.
Un Cuore protetto, al sicuro, nascosto dietro un tessuto, lontano dai sentimenti falsi, ma illuminato, come una speranza sempre accesa.
Nebu è una creazione nata dalla voglia di lasciare libera la forma e interagire con la materia, la luce, attraversa le curve del tessuto che si formano inserendo degli elementi, il resto lo disegnano le ombre che si formano, sono la luce e le ombre i protagonisti, non piu la forma. Realizzata con telaio in alluminio, legno e plexyglass. Impianto illuminazione led.
Ho scelto due forme iniziali, una lampada, e un cuore, la lampada perche mi piaceva richiamare schematicamente un silmbolo di illuminazione.
